Scholarships

Only students who are regularly enrolled in the course may apply for scholarships, taking into account the criteria established by the funding agencies and the Course Scholarship Committee (according to PPGECB Resolution 12/2019 and PPGECB Resolution 09/2023).

The duration of scholarships is a maximum of 24 months for master's degrees and 48 months for doctorates.

Acceptance by the advisor or approval in the selection process does not imply automatic grant of a scholarship. However, the supervising professors, in collaboration with the Coordination of the Graduate Program in Ecology and Conservation of Biodiversity, always seek to obtain scholarships from funding agencies (CAPES, FAPESB, and CNPq).

The course also promotes, through tips, courses, and even disciplines, individual initiatives to obtain research funding.
